Residential Property Solicitor

We’re looking for a Conveyancing Solicitor to join our friendly Residential Property team.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for a full caseload of residential property work that includes freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, development work and gifts of property.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in property practice and a passion for providing excellent client service.

If you’re self-motivated, with a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Mortgages
  • Transfers of equity and property gifts
  • Plot sales
  • Communicate with clients regularly about their legal matters
  • Maintain strong existing client relationships
  • Build relationships with new clients, agents, brokers and other professional advisers

Requirements

  • Qualifications as a solicitor or chartered legal executive
  • Experience in property practice
  • A passion for providing excellent client service
  • A strong work ethic

Legal Secretary

Are you a secretary looking for a fresh opportunity in a collaborative, supportive, varied environment?

We’re looking for a full-time secretary to join our friendly team in our busy Hungerford town centre office.

You’ll be working in our private client department, with a day-to-day role that includes administrative duties and the potential to take on further responsibilities as you gain experience. There may also be some reception duties.

Our ideal candidate will have at least one year’s experience working in a law firm, though this isn’t a deal-breaker for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • General office admin
  • Transcribing audio dictation
  • Dealing with client enquiries
  • Arranging appointments
  • Filing and archiving
  • Occasional reception cover  

Requirements

  • 1 year’s law firm experience is preferred but not essential
  • Previous secretarial experience
  • A team spirit
