Residential Property Solicitor

The role

You’ll have regular contact with clients, agents and other professionals, building on the relationships that are at the heart of our success.

You’ll also receive administrative and secretarial support, as well as guidance from the highly collaborative team and senior partners.

The varied residential caseload you’ll be managing may include:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Transfers of equity and gifts of property
  • Remortgages and mortgages
  • New-build and plot sales
  • Liaising with clients, agents, brokers and other professionals
  • Maintaining excellent relationships and delivering clear, practical advice

About you

We welcome applications from solicitors or chartered legal executives with:

  • 1–10 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing (more or less will be considered)
  • Experience in residential conveyancing
  • A calm, practical and client-focused approach
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • An interest in becoming part of a long-standing local practice
  • A collaborative nature and commitment to high-quality service

Commercial Property Solicitor

We’re looking for a qualified solicitor with client-facing experience who is confident and able to work with high levels of autonomy from the outset.

You’ll advise a broad range of clients, including developers, investors, lenders, landlords, tenants and managing agents, on their commercial property matters. 

Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of commercial property matters that includes:

  • Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
  • Commercial leases
  • Landlord and tenant advice
  • Commercial licences
  • Development
  • Secured lending and finance

As well as providing high-quality, commercially astute legal advice, you’ll also be expected to:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Develop professional connections with investors, agents, developers, accountants and other professional advisers
  • Support junior team members and contribute to a positive team working environment
About you
  • UK qualifications as a solicitor
  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Ambition to excel and develop your legal career
